Cinzano Vermouth is made by the Campari Group which was founded in 1757. The Cinzano 1757 Rosso is made from Italian wines only and expertly blended with the botanical, Wormwood (also known as Artemisia) which is grown natively in Piedmonte. It has interesting wood and spice notes on the nose which evolve into dried fruit and vanilla. It's also lovely and floral which is a signature charcateristic of Wormwood. Then onto the palate we see some lovely spice, dried figs, cinamon, liquorice and vanilla. It has a lovely long and mouth warming, bitter-sweet finish. Altogether a more complex and satisfying drink than Cinzanos regular Vermouth Rosso!
